It's all in the details...

Fall 2010 New York Fashion Week is in full force!
The silhouette, the architecture, the neutral color palette, they all came together beautifully in the Herve Leger Fall 2010 collection. The bandage dresses that put this label back on the map have been taken to the next level. The tight, body conscious style was still there, but the uniformed strips were replaced with geometric pieces of varying angles done in neutrals,

grays,

and black.

The layering of textures adds such a dramatic dimension to an otherwise dull shape. And the geometric detailing breaks the body up in a flattering matter, creating shapely, feminine lines...

Azria kept the focus on the dresses being strutted down the runway with overly simple hair. An unexpected pop of color on the lips added edginess to the otherwise plain faced models.

The addition of the architectural elements at the hips conjured images of the skyscrapers just beyond the tents.

(does this dress not scream Empire State Building?)

In the need for a sexy silhouette, look no further then Herve Leger.
